Whether you be a Visitor to Baren-touhk or a Citizen of long standing, I greet you and comradity and friendship. I have come but recently to the ranks of the Citizenship, and I share these thoughts with you that they may hold a glimmer of useful instruction.

The people of Baren-touhk are a people who take much pride in their community and what they have wrought. they take seriously the considerations of a Gorean philosophy in both their manner and their speech. So if in meeting a Gorean of Baren-touhk for the first time, maintain in yourself the character of one who is of Gor. It is a proud tradition, and a worthy tradition to embrace.

And in keeping in character, indulge and partake in the roleplay as it grows before you. This is a land of verdant imagination. Within the city walls, you may stumble across plans being laid out for the defense of the city, the celebration of the silking of a girl, a tour of a new ship docked in the harbor, or even a Festival complete with songs, recitals and a slave auction.

Similarly, the Crimson Tavern itself is a place where people congregate to talk much of matters. Discuss and debates issues and philophies Gorean, or trade amusing stories. Find out how many Tuchuks it takes to screw in a energy bulb. Consult with Freepersons and slaves in traditions and ceremonies.
